Distressed Patriots for America will be working with Professor Barnett, the Nationwide Tea Party Coalition and other groups to help bring the Bill of Federalism to State Legislators. Within each state a Distressed Patriot for America State Chapter will be organized to liaison with Distressed Patriots for America. Each State Chapter’s first objective will be to encourage their Governor, as well as gubernatorial candidates, to publicly commit to support the Bill of Federalism. The State Chapters will be organized with their prime mission to pursue State Representatives for their support leading to the state legislature ratifying a resolution to join a coalition of no less than 34 states; the minimum required to petition Congress for a convention to propose the amendments for state ratification. Distressed Patriots Grassroots Groups and Organizations will be critical to making State Representatives aware of their constituency’s demand for ratification of their states resolution to join the coalition. As these Groups and Organizations are organized and develop their presence on web sites, blogs and the social networking services, such as Facebook, MySpace, Twitter, Tumblr, etc., they will be put in touch with the appropriate State Chapter (as they are organized) for linking and to insure their unified voices and votes are continually delivered to their State Representatives. State Chapters will liaison with all of their state's grassroots groups and organizations to coordinate state Amendment Parties at their State Capitals, and pursue other freedom of speech demonstrations to achieve their mission. |
