Why Affiliate?

More than ever, Americans are distressed with our country’s direction. Thousands are speaking out not just for freedom, capitalism and less intrusive government, but for adherence to the governing principles enumerated in the U.S. Constitution. Abandonment of those principles is jeopardizing America as a constitutional republic.

As the American Revolution proved, while the colonies and their representatives held differences of opinion on issues of the day, binding common cause provided the unity and strength to create a nation. We do not have to create a nation, but we must save the one we have.

From single individuals with web sites and blogs to large well funded organizations that are pursuing an array of political initiatives, there is near universal agreement that Congress is out of control and unresponsive to the people, and that the power and intrusiveness of the federal government, particularly with regard to the 16th Amendment - the income tax - far exceeds what the framers of the Constitution ever imagined.

Only through demonstrable Strength Through Unity will Americans stop and reverse this administration’s rush to socialism. If the millions of likeminded Americans rallied and banded together under a single recognizable national standard, it could not be dismissed. One such standard during the American Revolution was the Gadsden "rattlesnake" flag with the words "Don't Tread on Me."

Distressed Patriots for America envisioned a symbol that would be recognized by all and most importantly express both patriotism and distress with our government. The result was the Distress Flag design.

We are not asking anyone or any organization to change their initiative, change their name or even embrace the Bill of Federalism although we hope you will consider doing so. What we are asking is that you rally to the Distress Flag symbol in a show of national solidarity. Together we can blanket America in a nationwide visual protest to the innumerable abuses, usurpations and grievances of citizens and states, some of which have been ignored for decades.

Our store program will financially support organizations that rally to the Distress Flag. Our experienced merchandising group will create co-branded products that use the Distress Flag and your organization’s name and/or logo. We will sell these products to your store, or we will sell them through our store. In the latter arrangement, manage everything. Your only obligation is promoting the co-branded products to your membership via email and your web site.

We provide you with a CODE that you ask your members to use during check out from our store. By using that CODE, we track and remit to your organization ten percent of all retail sales for all products in our store, whether or not they are co-branded with your organization.
